The Seattle Colleges Inaugural Tribal Government Liaison and the Division for Access, Community and Opportunity inviteD Seattle Colleges students, employees and community members to its Seattle Colleges Government to Government Summit - to strengthen partnerships with Tribes and support Tribal students across its three colleges. The summit centers Tribal voices and advances collaborative efforts to promote student success and equity.

The event, held Monday, May 11, 2026 in the Brockey Center on the campus of South Seattle College, featured keynote speakers Tim Renon from the Governor's Office of Indian Affairs, Denny Hurtado of the Skokomish and Zoe Higheagle from Central Washington University.  Panel discussions looked at the topics of Work Happening Across the System and Serving Our Tribal Students.
